I'm a local resident and on Saturday 1st September 2012 I’m Skydiving for Lupus and aim to raise as much money as possible in support of the St.Thomas’ Lupus Trust.
So what is Lupus?
Lupus is a systemic incurable illness occurring when the immune system becomes overactive producing too many antibodies. As lupus can affect any organ in the body and often mimics symptoms of other illnesses it may be very difficult to diagnose.
There is thought to be 50,000 Lupus suffers in the UK with most sufferers being females between the ages of 18 and 45 and of Asian or Afro-Caribbean descent.

Sadiq Khan MP is hosting a coffee morning aimed at older residents, which will also feature a range of local services and national organisations. The Mayor of Wandsworth will also be visiting. Contact Sadiq's office on 020 7219 5820 if you'd like to attend, or just turn up on the day.
